The cube applet has many options that are yet to be defined here. Most important, it is possible to use the move parameter to specify moves that will be done when selecting "play" in the playing bar. This is not just an animation - moves can be done from any initial state that is possible to set with mouse manipulations, and the move sequence can be repeated multiple times, manipulating the cube with mouse in between. The page http://rubikscube.info/waterman/stage3.php contains some widely known sequences to manipulate the cube.
