Taken from https://sourceforge.net/projects/physicsandmatha/, this is part of the four great physical applets, once written by Carlo Barraco and available under GPL license. We replaced images with more impressive real pictures. We also simplified the code, removed grid, made applet usable under various sizes (happens also in a browser if zoom is applied) and increased the font size of the F and C letters. There is also Android port of this project.
As of v 2.1 a pretty little ghost appears next to the image when it is a virtual image. The ghost has been available at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Rainbowghost.svg, Public Domain license.
The applets have been written by Carlo Barraco and Todd Fuller. These two people have been notified that applets are in use at Ultrastudio.org .
