We develop Ultrastudio.org and review applets under Eclipse Integrated Development Environment. Eclipse has excellent support for both server side development and also applet development. It is also both Open Source and Free Software, available for everybody to use.
To give back, Ultrastudio.org supports Eclipse IDE project by providing the fast (we are between the top 2 % fastest sites on a web) update mirror. It is an official mirror that we periodically synchronize with the primary site.
Due traffic limits we currently have, we only support updates. Please download Eclipse itself from the Eclipse website.
The mirror contains various updates on the current Eclipse features.
To use our mirror with Helios (the most recent release), when you are in Eclipse IDE, go to Window|Preferences, then Install/Update|Available Software Sites and there add http://ultrastudio.org/eclipse/eclipse/updates as an update site. Do not try to browse the site directly as there is no any .html file there that the browser could open. Eclipse finds various other files it needs.
Ultrastudio.org just provides mirroring service. All responsibility for the content we load and mirror from the Eclipse primary site lies on the owners and managers of that primary site.
